We are excited to present family art making activities at the Millvale Music Festival on Saturday, May 18. These activities will allow for exploration of a national, artistic treasure around the themes of art, justice, and love — as well as connect with the community around Millvale.
This rich collaboration between the Vanka Murals and LIGHT is building on a community event that is already free of charge to help create equitable access to community arts initiatives for all ages and abilities.
Join us at two locations at the festival — in the heart of the festival in Millvale and up the hill at the Vanka Murals in St. Nicholas Croatian Church. (The Music Festival is providing a free shuttle up the hill!) To check out the full schedule of events for the day, visit the Festival’s website. The Vanka Murals will be hosting a selection of musicians in the sanctuary from 11am-3pm, all are welcome.
