About this event

Learn about the Wonders of Trees through outdoor activities focused on sustainability, energy, conservation, and being a citizen scientist.

Wondering about the natural world around us helps us to understand the connections we have with and develop an appreciation for nature.  Eastwood’s Grow with Me Tree Program, where each Kindergarten class plants a tree and watches it grow, serves as a portfolio of knowledge accumulated throughout the grade levels. Remake Learning Days is the engagement for student’s learning processes to begin this journey. They will learn that trees provide so much for our world from water filtration and erosion prevention in the roots, providing oxygen and habitats for wildlife, to energy sources and air filtration in the leaves. Students will explore through outdoor learning activities the wonders of trees.
