Join us as we celebrate the official Rock County kick-off of Wisconsin’s “Remake Learning Days” at the Beloit Public Library’s “Kids & Community Festival”!
Remake Learning Days is part of a global initiative designed to showcase the many excellent ways families and youth can joyfully learn together in our community!
This Official Kick-Off Party in Beloit launches a festive week of over 250 free and low cost family-friendly events at over 50 organizations and locations throughout southcentral Wisconsin.
The Kids & Community Festival will feature hands-on activities for youth from over a dozen local organizations, including Barkley the Support Dog, Turtle Tek robotics, music from Youth United and other engaging activities from host of other family-friendly organizations. Attendees will enjoy live music and are welcome to partake in a free community meal provided by Dwelling Angels from noon-1pm. Visitors can drop in any time during the Festival hours.

- Stateline Boys & Girls Clubs — make your own T-shirt art
- Merrill Community Center – try out fun hands-on activities
- Welty Environmental Center – explore and learn more about our fine feathered friends
- Stateline Community Foundation – find out about new programs, like Literacy for Life
- The Southern Wisconsin Canine Therapy Dog Association — meet Zeke and learn about therapy dogs
- La Preferida and Balet Folclorico Juvenil Sangre Mexicana De Beloit – information, activities, hand-out and more
- Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Badgerland — get creative with coloring and crafts
- Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin — learn all about pets
- Downtown Beloit Association — celebrate community activities
- City of Beloit Parks & Recreation — activity hand-outs
- John Martin Sketch Artist — grab a pencil and unleash your inner artist
- PBS Wisconsin Education “Ready to Learn” – learn new ways to learn together
- play games, learn about programs and so much more!
The public is invited to drop in anytime during the event hours of noon until 2pm to enjoy the festivities and hands-on activities. A free community meal will be provided by Dwelling Angels from noon-1pm.
