Join us as we have a Virtual Tea Party and Celebrate what our families have over come this last year. We will have stories, and music for entertainment along with some history of Mothers Day. So create your best fancy hat and join us for some fun.

Families will experience the wonders of clay through a read-aloud of the book “Play with Clay”. Families will explore, build, and create using their own pieces of clay!

Birding expert Joey Herron will introduce students to his ongoing bird banding project. Students will be able to examine birds up close and learn about identifying birds through field marks, habitat, migration, and more.

The WVU Monongalia County Extension 4-H Program will be distributing kindness kits that include fun, hands on activities for youth and families to complete together while learning to value differences in others and encouraging kind acts among others. These kits will be distributed through various community partners.

In-person and virtual event on Sunday May 9. Families participate in hands-on STEAM activities at scheduled intervals.

Your elementary (Pre-K through 5) student(s) will be exploring STEAM through movement, dance, rap, and poetry using a variety of books and materials. Each night a special guest will be providing engaging activities followed up with a STEAM exploration. You will be provided a swag bag to enhance your experience.

Children learning at home, at school, or in a blended model are invited to use materials to grow seeds. With the given materials and a pre-recorded video, children will plant seeds, observe the growth, and document the process.

Elementary students can explore STEM topics remotely on our GoogleSite. Celebrating Careers with guest speakers, Connecting Community with tours, and Creating & Constructing STEM activities are the themes to explore in the many videos and live events. Join us!
